Malaysian Masterclass - £125 per person

Already been on one of our introductory cookery classes? Want to learn about the traditional preparation and cooking techniques used?

Our Masterclass with Ning’s Executive Chef provides a new and not to be missed, premium experience for the real foodie!

Norman Musa our Executive Chef and author of our successful cookbook, Malaysian Food, has appeared on TV in Malaysia and the UK where he has cooked with the likes of celebrity chef Rachel Allen . This year he is also the official chef to the Lotus Racing Formula One team – so you will be in good hands!

He will show you how to get to grips with 3 exquisite Malaysian dishes, teaching you each recipe from scratch and helping you to understand the key ingredients used.

Each class will have a maximum of 5 people in it.

The Masterclass includes :-

  • Tuition of 3 of Norman’s signature dishes from his cookbook “Malaysian Food.” These will be a starter,main course and a dessert
  • Unlike our introductory classes, each dish will be taught including the preparation and cooking techniques used.
  • Students will learn how to make fresh curry powder from scratch and also how to fillet a fish
  • The focus of the class is very much on the story behind the food, looking into each dish in detail and why it is typically Malaysian
  • Students will also receive a goody bag at the end of the day which will include a spice pack containing samples of the spices used on the day along with colour recipe cards of each recipe taught and a certificate to say you have completed the masterclass.
